Principal's Message

I am very excited to share that Sunnyside School has received the Connecticut Associations of Schools Recognition of Positive School Climate on November 14, 2017! The purpose of this award is to give public recognition to schools in CT that demonstrate outstanding positive climate and culture. We were commended for the noble work of our staff and excellence demonstrated in school practices and events. Our families’ support and efforts have played a significant role in earning this wonderful recognition. Way to go Sunnyside Families!!! A small recognition ceremony with CAS is planned during our December 6 th faculty meeting. As we approach this festive season, I would like to extend warm wishes and thanks to the Sunnyside School community. This is a wonderful time of year to recognize and appreciate our differences. These differences make our communities so rich with character. Each day I look forward to working with the students, families and staff of Sunnyside. I hope that during this holiday season, you are surrounded by family and friends. Happy Holidays and best wishes for a prosperous New Year! Mrs. Amy Yost
